Just killing time...

Well, it's raining here, so there isn't much really to do. I walked down to the work and travel office (I DEFINITELY think it was a great idea for me to do this program through them as opposed to by myself... I have a ton of advantages like free internet, and all kinds of great discounts)

I'm uploading my zoo pics to Flickr now, so I can give you all a link to check out all my pics so far.

Thanks, Nick, for keeping me updated on all the celebrity gossip! They were actually talking about the Heath drug tape here yesterday, that is news here because he is Australian.

And I do know where Broadway is, Cheryl... I actually was over there once when I was a little lost. Then I sat on a bench to check out my map, and some guy came up to me and gave me a piece of paper that said that they were looking for females for a job massaging clients. Hah! And that was also where the one homeless guy came up to me and asked for money, then told me to watch out for people in the city because "there are a lot of assholes". That is my experience with Broadway!

Hmm, I just looked at the weather and it looks like we have showers or thunderstorms for the rest of the week! I wonder how that is going to affect surf camp...

Anyhow, I'll post the link to my pictures from the zoo and the aquarium/opera house next time... I still need to organize them into folders so there is some semblance of order.

Peace!

Fun fun fun! On a more cooler note: I got a garmin nuvi! Oh how much fun. I have the aussie girl Karen navigating me now! I can think of you and smile! ;) I'm also being guided by a shiny red firetruck. Man this GPS thing is FUN! Much more fun than being in AU I'm sure! *lol*

Hey Kare...they need the rain in Australia. Maybe you are good luck and brought it with you. LOL

Also, Karen (Aussie Karen)read your blog and this is what she said to me: "Just letting you know I got your email and had a look at Karen’s blog, I laughed so much about the wrong side! Should I comment? Red backs are only on the toilet seats way out in the outback, the toilets that are outside with no septic or sewerage. she should watch putting clothes on the floor, just tell her to shake her clothes before putting them on, the white tails are bad for getting in your clothes.
It is expensive in Sydney probably the most expensive in oz, plus she is going to tourist places so they rip you off, charge way more than they should because like she says all the Asians are there spending."

I told her to go ahead and write on your blog. :-)

Cher: why in the heck do you need a Garmin when you already have a GPS in your van?

Hope the rain doesn't impact your surf camp. After all, how much wetter can you get. Thunderstorms could be a problem though.
Love the pictures.

It’s raining here too :-( Doesn’t really affect my day though since I am stuck AT WORK! So...Guess who was in the same psych ward as Britney! ALEX FROM GREYS!!!! I KNOW!!! He has sleeping problems, not too crazy! Also Brit is classified as GD (Greatly Disabled). So she might be in there for a while. This is my last update on her for a while. I will respect her privacy while she gets better....unless she shaves her head or something like that!
Ok pic time!!!
